The idea of Diva´s was created in 2008. Kim who created the idea, was in no rush to put the show out straight away, as she felt she wanted to take her time to get the right material, promotional look and most importantly another Diva who was right for the show. After many months and as always, a few hiccups Diva´s is now set to hit the stage, and not just here in Spain but hopefully also in the UK.
Two exciting new shows are currently being produced, so watch this space!

Kim Robertson
Kim started dancing at the very young age of three, and from there on all she have ever known is the entertainment world.
Although very young, she knew that she wanted to be a professional dancer. When she was 10, she did her very first professional show of ‘Wind in the Willows’ with John Alderton from the hit T.V series ‘Please Sir’, which then led to her performing in the west end tour of ‘Evita’ and ‘Joseph and his Technicolor Dream Coat’.
From there on she was very lucky to work in many other professional shows and also perform in various pantomimes with names such as, Bernadette Nolan – Nolan Sisters, Freddie and the dreamers – 60’s band, Ashley Paske – Neighbours, Nicola Stapleton – Eastenders, and many more.

At the age of 14 she then also started singing. So at the age of 16 she went to London to study at ‘Brian Rogers Performers College’. During her 3 years of training, she was privileged to perform on T.V with credits including, the opening ceremony of Euro ’96 at Wembley Stadium with Simply Red, and also with Sir Cliff Richard for the Opening of the Rugby League. She also performed on ‘Big Breakfast’ alongside Ant and Dec, and also on GMTV for a week of fitness with Mr Motivator.
When she graduated from college in June 1997 at the age of 19, she had a job waiting for her as a singer/dancer on a small cruise ship the ‘MV Romantica’ around the Mediterranean, this then led to more cruise companies where she sailed around the Caribbean and America.
In the summer of 2000 she started to work as an entertainments manager for various companies In Spain and in the UK. Part of the job was to train up new entertainers and also to create and choreograph her own production shows, which she did with great success. During the winters she also worked full time on the cabaret circuit traveling all over the UK to various hotels, bars and clubs.
In the summer of 2004 whilst working for a large company, she was fortunate to be promoted to entertainments executive. Due to being so busy within the company she had very little time to perform herself, and because she missed it so much in 2006 she went back on the cabaret circuit in the UK.
After yet another cold winter in England, Kim and her partner decided in March 2007 that enough was enough, So packed up the car, bought a one way ferry ticket, and drove to Spain to the Costa Calida.
Straight away Kim was out and about looking for work and within two weeks started working on the circuit her in the Costa Blanca. Kim now has a full working schedule on the circuit as a solo artiste, and now also as a Diva! |
